What does their cap space look like? Will they have to explore trading a defensive piece to get an OLman or move up in the draft?

Bradford has done well with what he has. That still doesn't justify the 1st rounder.

They had a championship defense and they couldn't have predicted that they would lead the league in offensive injuries. I give them credit for attempting to win now instead of quit on the season. Also, Bradford might be their long term QB now. His accuracy and decision making has earned him that right. With the way the season ended obviously it was a fail but at least the acquired a good QB which 50% doesn't have.

Welp at 7-8 the outcome of the Vikings season went as predicted by most of us. Sure looked promising in the beginning, but damn, Sam Bradford teams just ain't for a winning record, let alone the playoffs. I guess the positives here are: he stayed healthy and didn't totally suck.

Put Bradford on the Pats and they win the SB but on the Queens they make the SB. You need a dual threat QB like Rodgers or Wilson if you have a team like the Vikes which have no run game, O-line or an O coordinator.

Well one thing you can take some comfort in is the fact that many teams that have "won" draft day trades seem to not use those picks all that well. I keep thinking of the St. Louis haul they got for the RGIII trade and well that didn't exactly end in victories. The players they picked were not the worst ever but just didn't build the team like many thought.
