Why the Rams NEED to draft Watkins

Wow, cut me to the quick. Can't argue with logic like that JDM. Let's not let the facts get in the way of a good delusion huh.

What facts?

A. The patriots were fined and penalized a draft pick in 2007 for filming from an illegal location. This rule did not exist in 2002.

B. A disgruntled former patriots employee claimed he videotaped rams walkthroughs, and had tapes to prove it. No tapes have ever surfaced and your own coach was "insulted" by the fact that he could make such an untrue claim.

Name something I'm missing.

But what about the players like Kurt Warner, Hines Ward and others who believe it to be true?

Do I know what happened? No I don't. But you and I both know that the NFL is a billion $ business and even though it's not the CIA, there is alot of Bullshit surrounding this spygate deal and how long it went on for. And the fact that the if the Jets were the ONLY cheating episode that went on, that doesn't deserve a $750,000 fine and a loss of a 1st rounder. The punishment here didn't fit the crime and for years players were all saying similar things about the Patriots.

That's all I know. And it's not hard to connect the dots. I think Mad Mike was sick of talking about it, pissed he got out coached, and who knows.. Maybe the NFL gave him a few mill to shut his mouth.

All I know is that the NFL covered it up nicely.

That bullshit is the reason the fine was what it was. It's the same reason they overreacted to the saints. The public appearance of impropriety even with very little actual rule breaking (the wrong location in this case) has to be overreacted to for that public image. $750,000 is nothing. It's not shit to any of these guys. Revis will get that per game.

Again, the players comments about thinking they knew the plays means nothing. There was no limitation whatsoever on taping signals at that point and every team in the league did it.
