Why is Notre Dame ranked so high?

They haven't played ANYBODY.

All we heard going into the season was how tough Notre Dame's schedule was. Now it looks like shit. Any win against the Big 10 is a joke. None of The Service Academy's are good this year. BYU is down as well.

Hype is one thing, but this is a bit ridiculous.

We shall see. Bob Stoops doesn't necessarily have the best of records in big games. I hope the team that got beat by Kansas St. at home doesn't show up. Always remember what Jimmy Johnson said about playing Notre Dame. We can't allow it to be close late in the 4th quarter.

It was the 3rd game of the season after 2 bye weeks in 3 weeks. Mark Stoops is back! Only points scored in the past 3 games have been when the 3 stringers are in and in garbage time in the 4th quarter.

I hope its a good game but realistically I expect an OU blowout.

They have to go for the throat. I respect Notre Dame's front 7. They're good. The secondary is suspect. Jones should be able to rip them to shreads if he has time to throw the ball. Notre Dame must have Golson back if they expect to win. He's a duel threat. The other QB's don't pose anywhere near the problems that Golson does.

....one TV announcer even said.."college football is better when Notre Dame is relevant". The media wants ND in the mix. As we know history/tradition is huge in the college game. Hell they still play up...Army vs Navy.

Michigan, Michigan St, Stanford, Oklahoma, and USC. Yeah looks like a weak schedule. I have them number 5 this week.

Oklahoma has the 17th ranked offense and the 15th ranked D. ND has the 74th ranked offense and the 6th ranked D. The Fighting Irish finally vs a team with speed on the road, they stand no chance at all.
