It was an XP to tie the game.

Michigan could not stop Ohio State when Ohio State ran the ball.

In OT, Ohio State would have scored at will and would have probably stopped Michigan. But you never know. Hoke is probably second guessing himself now.

Maybe so, but he had one chance for that two point conversion, but possibly a few chances in OT to win. Not only that, but I would think being at home would give them a better chance in OT to win.

Michigan was playing above their level today, I don't blame the call to ride the momentum and go for the win. I don't see Michigan winning in OT.

Supposedly Hoke left the decision up to the players, they chose to go for the win instead of the tie

Huh? A coach asking the players what they thought? Who ever heard of that? Fire him. He doesn't know what to do.

ETA: This was not aimed at you CT, just a shot at the subject.

To me there is a huge difference asking the players if they want to go for the win or overtime, vs Uh we don't know what to do guys, what do you guys think would work best to stop the other team since we as coaches haven't been able to figure it out yet.

Ok I'm off the subject now.
