All the JJ hate is amusing to read

couple of not great decisions by him (I thought he should have thrown to Loveland on that 4th down), but the Johnson drop was huge and Washington did a nice job covering receivers. do feel like they could have used his legs more earlier, but I can't complain too much about that given the final. running game made some explosive plays early and the defense had an incredible effort

IDK. JJ didn't make mistakes or get rattled. Credit the O'line for not having to depend on him.
Penix made the throws he had to when he needed, the Mich D had something to do with his success but the throws were accurate to leave the result to chance.
maybe they slide a little but not too far if you really breakdown the game performances
JJ did everything he was asked to do.

Michigan had more rushing yards than UW had total yards. The one thing JJ can't do is throw picks and he didn't

I guess I'll have to wear my "Captain Comeback "4 jersey a few times for you Michigan fans.

Congrats to Michigan.

Damn, Washington could have been in it more, lots of dropped passes and penalties.

Closer in the 4th quarter than I thought it would be after the 1st.

Sure he could have played better. But the Johnson and Loveland drops were pretty big. The short pass on 4th to Wilson was a great defensive play by the backer.

I do think he should go back for his true senior year. He's young and could use another year of experience before going to the NFl

I guess the national championship game was last week. This was a surprise frankly. Penix had a bad night. I'd only seen him last week. I wonder if this will hurt his stock. Not great when rattled.

In his defense, he was getting the shit kicked out of him.

Hats off to Michigan. They played better on both sides of the ball than we did tonight. We hung in there, but a bunch of things for us really sealed that performance.

Defense took way too long to start protecting the gaps.

Our offense was out of sync pretty much the entire game.

Johnson was barely able to play tonight and I don't think he should of been out there at all. The loss of our #1 RB was heavy to make up for.

Penix made a number of uncharacteristic bad passes which is shocking considering how consistent he was most of this year. The bad passes and numerous drops with good passes were absolutely gut punches to our chances.

Michigan did get away with murder on some of those holds, but I still don't think it would of absolutely changed the outcome enough to win this game. The refs didn't do us any favors tonight, but still don't think that was the only reason we didn't win.

Congrats to Michigan. They've been the best team this year and they had a great performance last night.
