We can't afford Dion. His cigarette and liquor bill alone would sink the team.

He was on pace for 14 goals this season with the Leafs so maybe he can add a few more.

Also, CBJ has $3.72m in cap space right now. With Boll's $1.7m that becomes $5.42m. Throw in Rene Bourque's $3.33m and you've got yourselves a Phaneuf.

And I don't think the Leafs will be in the Matthews sweeps, unfortunately. I think they signed just enough projects and will bring up just enough prospects to stay around where they finished last season.
