What are the odds on my fruit basket?
Since the tarantula incident the kibosh has been put on sending fruit baskets.

Incidentally, the reason why SportsHoopla is so serious about no one having multiple logins is because people were abusing the new user fruit basket and t-shirt giveaways.

Dallas might have to part with one of their top young guys in order to find a taker for one of their goalies though. I mean, if you want me to take Antti Niemi for instance, the only way you get me interested is if you throw in somebody like Faksa into the deal and basically the return will be something equivalent to Faksa.

Chicago had to do it to trade Bickel. They did it last year in the Sharp trade. Who does Dallas give up along wih Niemi, Nickushkin?

What can I get for odds on the Las Vegas Black Knights winning the Cup before the Oilers?

Tampa Bay might be worth a shot... they are currently three points out, but if they round into form, and Stamkos comes back, could be very dangerous. I know they sold some pieces from last year, but the core of the team that came within a win of the SC finals is still there, and Stamkos could return in time for playoffs...

Also a little surprised Penguins / Blue Jackets have the same odds. 1) Because they have pretty similar records, and I would've thought the defending champs get a bit better odds between the two, and 2) The odds shift with betting, and I would've expected more general public people betting on Pittsburgh without really following how the season is going.

San Jose also has decent odds, and an easier path than Minny/Chicago in my opinion...

And this will seem insane, but OTT at 28/1 is not the worst move. They look as good as anyone in the Atlantic, and admittedly will have to be lucky to get past the Metropolitan winner. But if they could, I would like their chances against anyone in the West.

I think 3 weeks ago the Flames were at 60/1 (now 28/1)

/Mind you, the Flames aren't going to win the Cup, but obviously some money has come in to lower those odds.
