Seriously, I'm surprised given all their FA and expansion draft losses that the Pens are the top favorite. But I guess until someone knocks them off, they are still at the top of the mountain.

They are definitely not the team they were last year. A lot thinner on the blue line and at center, and that's kind of important.

Plus they don't have 2 #1 goalies anymore. People can say what they want about MAF but if the Pens didn't have him to fall back on when Murray got hurt at the start of the season and the start of the playoffs, the Pens don't lift Lord Stanley's Cup for the 2nd straight year.

And, the Power Play kill units have to be a lot weaker too.
