Ben won't last all season......they should have made a run at Cam.....but he apparently is content waiting till a stater gets hurt before signing so he can come in and start right away.

Jameis and Dalton are both better options than Cam, but I did hear some stuff about Cam's shoulder not being the problem last year, more so his plant foot for throws to the left.

They are too cheap to pay a backup. Oh wait wrong thread.... :L

Seriously I think it was mentioned but honestly they failed at getting a replacement to dump Duck. No way Rudolph is being cut and Lynch won't be on the team.

Barely warm bodies like Flacco/Moore would be good for this team because if used in short spurts can help.

Anyway, as it looks now, if Ben is hurt the Steelers are f*cked again.

Lastly a HUGE NO to Cam. He can't throw or run anymore and should just transition his life to whatever he calls that fashion.

Absolutely, it's Ben or die. He needs to stay healthy.

I'm way way way lower on Red Rocket then others here. I saw enough of him to know hes a pretender that stuck so long with the Bengals because they are a trash team themselves. And Cam is an absolute non-starter. Other than Winston, who is a dice roll at best himself, there just weren't options out there.

I'm hoping Lynch or Barrett can make a jump on the roster over Moron. But even there I wouldn't count on them to actually start any games.

/edit. That was an unintentional autocorrect, but I'm leaving it. The computer knows, too.

LOL...and it fit perfectly.

I totally forgot they signed JT Barrett with that said the four they have on the roster are all crap shoots.
They would be better off teaching Ben to throw left handed.

Or putting Samuels as QB and playing the Wishbone.

Oh so you're the kind of person who thinks the QB is solely responsible for wins and losses?

Are you also ignoring the fact that Jameis couldn't see for years?

To answer your first question, you're the one who disregarded his college achievements by saying he "isn't a winner."

Have you considered offensive line play? Defense? How often did Jameis have to play from behind because of a bad defense? I'm not saying he's the GOAT and should be starting over everybody, but to dismiss a young QB with a spectacular arm is just asinine because he's "not a winner"
how come when i gave the stats, in a timely manner, no reply?

Also, if we had the Ginger, Mrs. Chaney would be slurping his balls for us like she's doing with the Cowboy now.

We don't need that.
