I think this game is closer than people think for a few reasons:

1. 1st game of the season for both teams. Both teams will be working out the kinks, anything can happen.

2. Should be a home crowd for Okie jr

3. Okie jr's defense isn't that bad. They ranked #19 in scoring defense last year

Actually the bold is incorrect. Heard yesterday that FSU sold out their allotment and also sold another 7k tickets. Going to be a very even crowd if not a little pro FSU as far as numbers are concerned.

To #3 you do realize that they lost 2 starting LBs and all FIVE DBs that played and started last year right? THat is from that defense. THen there are the loses on O. QB, 3 OL, 2 starting WRs, and RB. A lot more losses for OSU to overcome personnel wise.

1st time playing football ever is going to be an adjustment for him. Do not forget that he will most likely be covered by Jalen Ramsey or Ronald Darby which are also on the FSU track team. I am assuming that Ramsey will be covering him most of the time since he covers or fastest guy Kermit Whitfield (10.17 100 yd dash) just fine. Will be interesting to see how Hill handles being hammered when tackled. Big difference between practice and game speed.

Winston threw just fine. Look at the 1st half versus the second. Auburn knew the plays being called in the 1st half. But yeah put it on his performance. He only went for 58% completion for 237 yds, 2 tds, and no ints. Not a bad day at all.

I find it more likely FSU wins and Winston proceeds to throw crab legs into the stands and fire them out of a crab cannon than Okie Jr keeping it within a TD to the end and having been seriously contending throughout. I pray I am wrong, though.
