Happy Thanksgiving week to you all. Hope it is a wonderful week. Please submit your top six ballot by Thanksgiving morning. Below are the resumes for this week:

Georgia (11-0)
Six wins against bowl-eligible opponents.
Best wins against two-loss Oregon (46) & Tennessee (14)

Michigan (11-0)
Five wins against bowl-eligible opponents
Best win against two-loss Penn State by 24 points.

Ohio State (11-0)
Six wins against bowl-eligible schools
Best wins against three-loss Notre Dame (11) and Penn State (13)

TCU (11-0)
Eight wins against bowl-eligible teams.
Best win against three-loss Kansas State.

Clemson (10-1)

Five wins against bowl-eligible teams.
Best win against three-loss Florida State on the road by 6 points.
Solo loss to Notre Dame on the road by 21 points.

USC (10-1)
Four wins against bowl-eligible teams.
Best wins were two 3-point road wins against three-loss Oregon State and UCLA.
Solo road loss to three-loss Utah by 1 point.

(9-2) LSU and (9-2) Oregon can still win their conference and get into the top 4. The Tigers have five wins against the bowl-eligible schools. Their two biggest wins were against three-loss Ole Miss by 25 points and two-loss Alabama by 1 point. Their losses were against Florida State by 1 and two-loss Tennessee by 27. The Ducks have four wins against bowl-eligible opponents. Their best wins were against UCLA by 15 points and Utah by 3. They lost to Georgia and (9-2) Washington by 3.

I included Alabama, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee and Washington in the poll.

So for this week, I would like to know the following answers:

(1) What is the top six teams for rivalry week?
(2) What is your logic for your #5 and #6 teams?
(3) Who wins the ACC title game between Clemson and North Carolina?
(4) Who wins the SEC title game between Georgia and LSU?

LSU is surging late, but losses still count.

Clemson and USC are the best 1 loss teams left, but I don't see a scenario where I could move Clemson up past any of the top 4 even if they drop a game over the next couple weeks. I think Clemson beats NC but it's real close and I feel a Georgia beatdown of LSU coming on in a couple weeks in Hotlanta

My ballot:

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan
4. TCU
5. USC
6. Clemson

My top 4 are the same as last week. Georgia has wins against Oregon and Tennessee. OSU beat Notre Dame and PSU. Michigan beat PSU. TCU beat K-State. All great wins. The Trojans have two big wins against Oregon State and UCLA. Both on the road. Their only loss was to Utah on the road by 1 point. I know people want to beat up on Clemson for losing to ND, but they still have five wins against +.500 FBS competition and took care of business against FSU on the road.

I think Clemson and Georgia are going to win their CC game.

Here's a scenario for people:

Clemson wins out at 12-1. USC loses to ND, but wins the Pac-12. Michigan beats Ohio State (or vice verse) in a close one. TCU and Georgia win out. You then have a scenario where an 11-1 Ohio State/Michigan non-conference champ could win over a 12-1 Clemson team.

USC definitely has the best ceiling here. You beat Notre Dame and then Oregon/Washington (or whoever), then you're looking at the #3 or #4 spot.

You favor USC over Clemson because they only lost by 1 points, right?

There loss was tight yes. I think it was actually OT. As far as 5th and 6th right now - I was kind of projecting them to both win their next two games. If that happens - USC would have to beat ND.

I said in a previous post though Clemson and Bama are just creeping around - meaning i can see a path for each of them to the 4rth spot.

What is your logic for the 5th and 6th spot?
I don't think the 5th spot requires much explanation. 1 loss. earned it.

and @ #6, in the pool of 2 loss teams, I think PSU is being disrespected. their only losses were to the #2 and #3 teams. They should be above oregon and Tenn. who lost their QB. at the very least.

Clemson and USC have one loss. So does Coastal Carolina. Why don't you have Clemson as your #6?

LSU has the better wins of the 2 loss teams and PSU's losses are to the #2 and #3 ranked teams. Still believe teams coming out of the PAC and ACC are overrated. Notre Dame has two embarrassing losses to crappy Marshall and Stanford yet beat both Clemson and UNC. USC? I've gone into detail many times already as to exactly how the ENTIRE top half of the PAC is overrated and USC is just the top beneficiary of this overall overratedness of the PAC.
