My ballot

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. TCU
4. USC
5. Ohio State
6. Alabama

Q2 - Georgia and Michigan are really 1a and 1b for me. Love their quality wins. Georgia's quality win against the red-hot South Carolina is the clincher for me. TCU has played great and defeated quality opponents. I cannot put them as #1 or #2 because Georgia and Michigan have played better opponents and dominated the field more.

Q3 - Yes. All three should make the playoffs, even if they lose over the weekend.

Georgia hasn't done anything to drop
Yes, all 3 should be in even with a loss this weekend UNLESS.......TCU was to get blown out that could jeopardize their chances

My Top 6:

1. Georgia (for essentially the reasons you stated)
2. Michigan (ditto)
3. TCU (ditto)
4. USC (ditto) - the Trojans get the nod over Ohio St. because their one loss was by one point on the road while the Buckeyes were blown out at home. Plus, with the exception of Michigan, I believe USC played a tougher overall schedule than OSU.
5. Ohio St. (see above)
6. Washington (10-2) - the Huskies had a mid-season dip where they lost back-to-back close games to a good UCLA team & a bad Arizona team, but they closed out the season with 6 straight wins, including 3-pointers over Oregon St. & Oregon, and an 18-point win at Washington St.

Others:
7. Alabama 10-2 - had 2 losses by a total of 4 points, but could have won both games if they hadn't kept shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties
8. Penn St. 10-2 - didn't look like much of a team early on, but except for losses to OSU & Michigan, got better as the season rolled on.
9. Clemson 10-2 - struggled to put away teams for most of the season & got blown out by an average Notre Dame team
10. Tennessee 10-2 - would have been in the top 5 if not for a blow-out loss to South Carolina two weeks ago
11. Tulane 10-2 - the best of the G-5 teams, but still likely to lose their rematch vs UCF, which already beat them once this season
12. LSU 9-3 - would probably be ranked lower after their breakdown against Texas A&M if they weren't SEC West champions
13. Utah 9-3 - the early season win over USC & making the Pac title game are the only reasons the Utes rank this high
14. Troy 10-2 - started slow, but got better as the season progressed. Probably the 2nd best G-5 team
15. South Alabama 10-2 - only losses were by 1 at UCLA and by 4 at home against Troy

Q3: I believe Georgia is a lock unless they get blown out by LSU, and I believe the same holds true for Michigan. A loss by TCU or USC could possibly open the door for Ohio St. or Alabama to get in; but I do not believe Bama is a championship quality team.
