while this is true & the Chargers are playing better than the other two, all but the redskins have a Jekyll & Hyde teams. Chiefs (not lately) jets & Raiders could show up to play.

Really amused by the Chargers hype with the scintillating 19 point performance against the Browns. My Chiefs aren't really dissuading anyone however. All these teams are trash.

It's gotta be the Chargers at this point. The fact the Chiefs still lost with a good performance from Alex Smith is extremely damning to their chances to get their season back on track. The Raiders have a defensive freak in Mack surrounded by a bunch of practice squad guys and the worst wide receiver corps in the NFL. Chargers have a HOF qb, dynamic playmakers on both sides of the ball and momentum.

I'm more curious about who wins the West because whatever team does that will come to New England next year. Once we know that, I'll know their whole schedule.

Yeah, that's a little strong. The Chargers are strongly overrated, however. They can very easily go 2-2 or even worse, but the division is all bad so who knows.

Chiefs are 1-5 in one score games not counting the Texans garbage time schtick.

That's pretty fucking awesome to think about considering one score games aren't a repeatable skill and usually translates to .500. But kind of supports my optimism for 2018 at least. But damn, that'd be hysterical if they went 1-9 or something like that in 1 score games.

Momentum ain't a thing, but regression to the mean usually is. A bit remarkable how inconsistent the team is at all levels. To be expected to a degree, but this is amusing.

Eh, not really. If one of the Chargers or Chiefs happen to actually sustain their talent for a while they could pop someone. Not betting on it, but it could definitely happen. Chargers gave the Jags a run for their money. Chiefs have beaten the Pats and Eagles. They aren't trustworthy by any means which is more of the problem. Chargers also were within 8 points of the Pats and Eagles.
