@TREFF

Did this with your yearly post in mind.
This is not based on anything except math.
All I did was plug in the offensive rankings (points; yards; turnovers; sacks) of each NFL team, then bounce those same rankings off each team's 17-game schedule (average).

Here are the playoff seeds based on this:

AFC (* Division winner)
1) JAC*
2) KC*
3) MIA*
4) CIN*
5) BUF
6) LV
7) LAC

NFC (* Division winner)
1) DET*
2) SF*
3) PHI*
4) TB*
5) DAL
6) SEA
7) GB

If anyone sees a problem, take it up with Jack Black.

There's some predictions I'd love to see (but probably won't):
  • Aaron Rodgers gets benched by week 8.
  • Jordan Love leads all QB in turnovers.
    • Followed by Anthony Richardson.
  • Justin Fields throws for 3999 yards (keeping the Bears streak alive).
  • UDFAs Sean Tucker and Jaleel McLaughlin lead all rookie RB in rushing (which will drop the value on all RB even more in 2024).
  • Fans throw plastic sample size bottles of Johnson & Johnsons Baby Lotion at Desean Watson at every road game.

Buffalo: Josh Allen breaks Peyton Manning’s record of 55 TD passes (back pat; I called 50 for Peyton that year)
Miami: Mostert doesn’t miss a game, and finishes top three in rushing yards
NYJ: Garrett Wilson leads league in targets
New England: no receiver breaks 600 yards

Pittsburgh: Pickens, Diontae and Robinson combine for 3333 yards
Baltimore: Gus Edwards rushes for 1300 yards
Cincinnati: finish 4-13
Cleveland: Chubb is RB1

Houston: Bobby Trees catches 90% of Stroud’s TD passes.
Indianapolis: trades Taylor to Chargers on Halloween for Bosa
Tennessee: Malik Willis beats out Levis and replaces Tannehill before October
Jacksonville: Trevor Lawrence is QB3

LAC: Ekeler becomes 3rd down back after trade
Las Vegas: Jimmy G hurts his leg
Denver: Trautman outsnaps Dulcich
Kansas City: Justyn Ross has most catches by Chiefs WR

Green Bay: AJ Dillon leads team in carries and rush TD
Detroit: Jameson Williams gets that second catch this year
Chicago: DJ Moore double digit TD, top ten WR
Minnesota: sign Kareem Hunt after 0-4 start, he leads them in rushing

Tampa Bay: worst offense in the league
New Orleans: TE Johnson at least 500 and 7 again
Atlanta: Bijan finishes outside top 20 RB
Carolina: Young leads league in INT

Dallas: Lamb catches 150 passes
Philadelphia: Gainwell Swiftly shows he’s worth more than a Penny
NYG: Hodgins is only Giants WR over 500 and 5… and by a lot
Washington: Gibson outplays Robinson

LAR: finish 2-15
Seattle: Tyler Lockett finally has a season that corresponds to his neglected ADP
Arizona: Rondale Moore goes for 90-1100
San Francisco: lose the Super Bowl to the Buffalo Bills

Since we're throwing out hyperboles, pick a player with a chronic injury history who plays all 17 games.
(Maybe call it the Fred Taylor Award.)

I'll take Dobbins.

I thought Pittsburgh was gonna find their offense this year. Thought both Pickett & Pickens were gonna have a kickass season.
It was quickly shown to me. How stupid I am LOL

I predict I will draft a great playoff scoring team that will miss the playoffs by a very wide margin.

Most my guys crushed yesterday, hello terry.

I thought for sure Kenneth Walker was gonna be a stud. Maybe next year.

impeccable timing, he looked great vs Philly tonight, took over that 3rd qtr

besides the game he got injured and the game he split with Charbs as they eased him back in, really only 1 poor performance on the season

I posted this on Sep 7.
Picked chroniclly-injured Dobbins to last the entire season.
He tore his Achilles 3 days later. Game 1.

Miami: Mostert doesn’t miss a game, and finishes top three in rushing yards (10th in yards, but 1st in TDs, well done)
NYJ: Garrett Wilson leads league in targets (4th in targets, nice call)
New England: no receiver breaks 600 yards (CRUSHED IT)

Jacksonville: Trevor Lawrence is QB3 (another great call, pretty sure he was the QB3 of the AFC South this season)

Denver: Trautman outsnaps Dulcich

Detroit: Jameson Williams gets that second catch this year (nailed it!)
Chicago: DJ Moore double digit TD, top ten WR (only 8 TDs but was WR6 on the season)

Dallas: Lamb catches 150 passes (135rec on 181tar, close!)

Seattle: Tyler Lockett finally has a season that corresponds to his neglected ADP (WR34, think he finally performed worse than his ADP for the first time in his career)

so close on this one!!!
San Francisco: lose the Super Bowl to the Buffalo Bills

pretty damn good stuff @TKOSpikes
