I'm taking the Broncos over the 49ers, 34-17

NFC Championship game: 49ers over Falcons (again) 27-24
AFC Championship game: Broncos over Colts 20-14

I'd pick the Lions too. But I am biased.

I know the Broncos are a popular pick, but this whole dream team via FA nonsense always fails.

How are the Broncos a dream team via free agency? They had a playoff team, and then signed Peyton Manning. They lost a close game to the eventual Super Bowl winners in the playoffs. These guys are not at all the Philly "Dream Team" of free agent signings, not by any measure.

Manning is one of the top 2 or 3 QBs to ever play in the NFL, and he has a loaded offense with perhaps the best defense he's ever got to play with... Denver is just a very good team right now with a legendary QB at the helm. I like New England, Baltimore and Indy as well in the AFC, but none are as complete as the Broncos.

In the NFC it seems like it's San Fran, ATL, Seattle and then everyone else...

Not counting my obvious homer pick, falcons - niners in the NFC championship with the winner winning the Super Bowl. I'd lean toward SF with the better D.

I agree, and I think they can win it. I see much fewer holes in the defense than last year, and love the pick of Dobson. But me predicting my team doesn't really add much value to the conversation IMO.

Patriots' defense will keep them from winning it all, but their cakewalk division will put them in a good spot to get the the AFC championship.

I still don't trust Matt Ryan in the playoffs so they are out for me. Also where is the pass rush.

I'm going to go with Bengals over Falcons.

They added Adrian Wilson at safety, which was by far the weakest any team in the NFL was at any position except the Jets at QB in my opinion. Corner was exposed by awful safety play and should improve with help over the top. They don't have any lockdown corners, but I believe they have a few above average ones. If you have no one over the top, you're going to look bad in all coverages, and this is what happened. I am very comfortable with McCourty and Wilson over the top with Talib, Dennard, and Arrington in nickel sets. It would be nice to have one more edge rusher, but the defense is not the weakness it has been IMO.

Respect. I haven't followed their offseason that closely. I think that their offense will take a step back, and that the defense won't be enough to make up for it. I think they will still be a very good team that could very well be in the Super Bowl, they just aren't my pick.
