I’d be fine with FitzMagic as a bridge year.

Fitz didn't progress well with his injury this year. Finally did the surgery a few weeks ago that he should have had done in Sept. Course our medical officer was on leave due to a DEA raid and we were completely banged up all year so hard to trust this FO inn the injury front tbh

Fitz was badgered, hooting and looking animated at the Bills playoff game (first time any of us had seen him as he showed up on the sidelines 0 times for the payers of 10 mill this year for a quarter of football) do i sound bitter...lol

He could be just fine but as a 39 year old with a bad hip... who knows at this point

I highly doubt the Steelers go after Russ or Aaron. Have to give up too much compensation and it's not really the way they do things there.

I doubt either of them want to play there either.

I vote to go with Mason or Haskins, finish 5-12, and be in place to draft a top end QB in 2023 like what happened with Ben in 2004. Getting a franchise QB outside the first round happens like one time out of 1,000. Of course, drafting a QB in the early first round probably has like a 30% hit rate, but I guess that's better than the .1 percent chance in later rounds.

I agree 100%. His name has crossed my mind to bring in. We have young weapons. Line should improve with some additions and another year. He knows his role, and embraces it. Great locker room guy. Low risk, high reward. Tomlin has mentioned wanting a vet, and one thats mobile. Fitz was mobile, we’ll see after his injury. But hes a great stopgap option.
