Ohio St. isn't getting Ebuku. The Buckeyes landed a WR last year that UW never offered seeing how is dad is a total cvnt (radio DJ to boot). The state of Washington will have four 5* rated recruits come the end of this fall. UW will land three of them.

Right, because OSU never takes away UW targets...

You don't know jack fvcking shit about recruiting so no idea why your even posting about it. Ohio St. landed a big time WR out of Washington St. that the Huskies wouldn't offer.

While I am not going to quibble with this, I will say that Day was the beneficiary of team recruited by Meyer (not dissimilar to what Riley inherited from Stoops and an argument could be made that Meyer left Day in better shape than Stoops left Riley) and how will tOSU look in three or four years? I mention this because this is a thread about recruiting.
Oh I said that part pretty tongue-in-cheek, but in all honesty I'm not worried about Day in the slightest. He and his staff just wrapped up another top 5 class, and currently have the #1 ranked class in 2021. I know that'll change most likely, but he's off to an amazing start, and several other top 100 recruits are heavy OSU leans. As a coach, he's done a dynamite job.

He did inherit the team from Urban, but he also had a huge part in making the team what it is. He was a phenomenal recruiter when he was the OC, and he was the main reason Justin Fields transferred to OSU. His defensive staff, which was a big problem in Urban's last year, was gutted and replaced with much better personnel. While we lost Jeff Hafley, who was an amazing DC, we replaced him with arguably OSU's best DB's coach ever (the guy who groomed guys like Marshon Lattimore, Denzel Ward, Malik Hooker, Eli Apple, Gareon Conley, and Bradley Roby, all 1st round picks). I'm more worried about Day being lured to the NFL than I am about him failing at OSU.

Right, because you've never complained once about tOSU taking Washington targets...never.

You're talking out of your ass. You were spouting off about how Gee Scott was gonna flip and he never waivered. Also, he 100% had an offer from Washington. He just realized how significantly better OSU is at developing WRs and it wasn't even a question.

Look at his 247 profile and tell me when UW offered that kid. It wasn't until the very end of the recruiting cycle. No idea how much you follow the goings on in Washington state but the kids dad is a total fvcktard. Ironically you're the only poster on here that give the fvcktard known as @michaeljordan_fan the time of day.

It wasn't like Riley was hired at the last minute from another school to take over for Stoops. He was actually responsible for recruiting a lot of those players he "inherited."

I don't know to what extent Day was involved in recruiting at Ohio St. since I knew nothing about him prior to his being named interim/acting coach in 2018 when Meyer was serving a 3-game suspension. I know the team got off to a good start under him that season.

WazzuWatch - Gee Scott Jr. Talks Washington Offer

Read up, dipshit. He was offered last year.
Jr. Adams threw the kid an offer and only because he begged Petersen first. See the pic in that link and the guy standing to the right of that kid? That's his father. Petersen can't stand that fvck. You wouldn't know about that guy seeing how you live back east in OHIO. The kid's dad is a DJ in Seattle. Go figure eh.

I know he is thrilled as fuck that his son is getting to play at Ohio State, and I know his son never even gave the Washington offer a second thought.

Also, he spent a ton of time trying to build a relationship (as the article notes) but it was way too little, too late. He didn't just "throw him an offer".

Let me fill you in Ohio boy. For the umpteenth fvcking time his dad is a local DJ who's political views are just left of George Soros. His dad doesn't hesitate to start shit whenever he gets the chance. Petersen is a devout Christian along with being a Republican. If you have any doubts take a look at that kid's dad's twitter.

I know he went from being homeless to being a popular radio host in Seattle over the course of a decade when he lost his business. I know that his experience as a homeless person led to him changing the life of a local Seattle homeless man who Scott has helped dramatically. I know that him forging that relationship ended up helping out a ton of other homeless people in the Seattle area, and that he wanted no credit for it.

And I know his son is going to be a Buckeye and both of them could not be happier about it.

Ohh this is because you have a political ax to grind. That explains it. Sorry we took the stud that the Huskies desperately needed and added him to our already stacked group, and that it apparently still pisses you off.

And if Day decides he wants Egbuka bad enough, I'm sorry, but we'll probably get him.

Glad to see the kid happy. He's a solid WR and he has a good work ethic. As far as his dad goes .. he's a loud mouth trouble causing socialist cvnt.

I couldn't care less about his dad. As long as he's supportive of Gee Jr. and the Buckeyes, he's fine in my book.

His dad has about zero effect in the state of OHIO seeing how he's a DJ of local Seattle area radio show.
