Was Scott's contract a guaranteed contract, or a contingent contract on whether he made the team?

If it was guaranteed, you can guarantee he is making the team.

If Scott's contract is guaranteed, he is in, and Burkhead is going to try and be stashed on the practice squad, which I think will fail, but it is what will happen.

Now if Scott was not guaranteed, then Scott is out I think and Burkhead is in. Scott has been injured too much, has contributed very little, and is not durable enough to participate on special teams as often as a 3rd or 4th back should be willing to do.
