If your team is going to go after in the offseason, you should have claimed him. Doesnt make sense not too. You would have him for pennies on the dollar with zero negotiating.

I know backlash & all that, but if you are going after him in the offseason, that is coming anyways.

A) Pretty sure that's not how contracts work with players on their rookie contract.
