Just out of curiosity, let's look at how the young Alabama & Oklahoma QBs are doing this season since these are the two linages that Jalen stakes claim to. And then let's speculate on going forward for their careers who will end up being the best and how they will rank.

Baker (year 4): 65.5%, 935 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 89.7 QB rating, 59 rushing yards & 1 rushing TD.

Kyler (year 3): 76.1 %, 1,273 yards, 9 TD, 4 INT, 115.0 QB rating, 109 rushing yards & 3 rushing TDs.

Tua (year 2): 54.8%, 215 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 74.0 QB rating, 4 rushing yards & 1rushing TD.

Hurts (year 2): 66.2%, 1,167 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT, 101.1 QB rating, 226 yards & 1 rushing TD.

Mac Jones (year 1): 70.0%, 1,012 yards, 4 TD, 5 INT, 84.7 QB rating, 7 rushing yards & 0 TD.

Kyler is the best right now but going forward, I've got it as:

1. Hurts
2. Kyler
3. Jones
4. Baker
5. Tua

Interesting to look back at this now just less than one year later. I was wrong on Tua.

If we do the list of who is best right now it'd probably be:

1. Hurts (or flip Jalen with Tua)
2. Tua
3. Kyler
4. Jones
5. Bakers

Baker (year 5): 53.6%, 380 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 79.5 QB rating, 41 rushing yards & 1 rushing TD.

Kyler (year 4): 63.9%, 470 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, 85.9 QB rating, 57 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

Tua (year 3): 71.1%, 739 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT, 116.5 QB rating, 3 rushing yards & 0 rushing TD.

Hurts (year 3): 69.8%, 576 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 97.1 QB rating, 147 rushing yards & 3 rushing TD.

Mac Jones (year 2): 64.6%, 465 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 83.2 QB rating, 9 rushing yards and 0 rushing TD.

You are absolutely right on Hurts. I think wrong at the time. Hurts works on his game though. He turned himself into what you thought he was.

Still not sold on Tua, nice comeback against the Ravens. His super power is players dropping easy picks when he makes a horrific choice. He is like Stafford without the arm.

The answer is still kyler murray. But theres only been a few of us here who thinks Hurts is any good. Actually I think me and @RememberTheKoy oddly enough. But Hurts is adding up performances dating back through last year. He just keeps progressing, and dudes work ethic and leadership have always been elite.

I tell you what though if we could combine Hurts work ethic with Murray’s ability. Literally chills

I would have said Kyler, But the new Call of Duty launches this week, so...

In all seriousness, we are only 2 weeks in, and you can't simply just look at stats. On Sunday, Kyler had an insane rushing 2-point conversion, which none of those other QB's could have made, and a crazy passing 2-point conversion. All this without James Connor and 2 of his top 3 WR's.. Those game-winning plays are not included in RTK's stats.

He showed great leadership, poise, and confidence which, according to the "experts", were huge question marks. He literally carried a significantly depleted team and led them to victory. With that said, let's revisit this after week 10. However, if we are going off their total young careers, it's K1.

Insane.

I think the bigger picture here is Lincoln riley’s ability to develop qbs.

Kyle couldn't have made this TD run.

Tagovailoa has played as eratically as Foles used to play...and he's been incredibly lucky with the results. There's a reason PFF has him outside their top 10. He's #1 in QBR because QBR is purely results based.

Similar numbers while Murray was missing a lot of weapons. Hurts should have thrown a pick on that last drive with a horrible decision throwing into coverage in the endzone. Murray had a great 2 minute drive with no TO's and we all know what happened.
Final result Murray > Hurts... :nutswing:

22 seconds, no TO's, the stadium scoreboard showed 1st down, and the coach called for a spike.

You're less than smart.

The Cards dropped 2 Hurts would-be picks. He had an average game all while having:

The best TE
The best WR
The best oline

Just ask RTK.
