Article tries to tie it to Wentz and what was said last year which isn't comparable since the Eagles wanted to keep Wentz but Wentz wanted out and was demanding a trade.

If the Eagles “wanted to keep Wentz” then why did the Eagles draft hurts? The Eagles wanted to get rid of Wentz but weren’t sure they could get good compensation for him. Plus, they weren’t sure they wanted to absorb the cap hit. It wasn’t until Wentz forced their hand AND they got good compensation for him that they moved on earlier than expected.

• Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
• Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
• Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings (replaces Rodgers)
• Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks (replaces Brady)

Not sure I see any of them stepping out but it could happen. I’m sure @RememberTheKoy knows better than me what’s going on with Hurts. Hey, RTK, is Hurts playing in the Pro Bowl?
