Falcons in a runaway.
You have to adjust during the game and not blame it on one play.

Biggest Choke Job was 1974 Notre Dame vs USC. In Less than 17 Minutes USC turned a 24-0 Deficit into a 55-24 Win.

Can you choke from the beginning of the game?

What we would be saying today if Beasley picks that dumb throw to Bennett at the goal line? It's a game of inches and Atlanta choked a lot of inches last night

They won didn't they? Did they not overcome an Int and a fumble? Just like GB had and could not?

I say again, top to bottom, which includes the coaches, the Pats must be better.

To say otherwise would be "too much"......

The better team did win, certainly were coached better.

I take "top to bottom" to mean vastly superior, and being tied after 60 mins kind of flies in the face of either team being vastly superior.

Yeah, that was also a dumb call. 1st and goal on the 2 and you run a fade? It was an almost 2014 Seahawks moment. Almost.

Top to bottom. Coach to placekicker..... All in. Sum of the parts. Collectively.

Vast was not used anywhere in my posts.

And coming from down 25 to tie it up in no time flat tends to show some form of superiority....... If not vast......

I've gotta go with 2014. I will never, ever understand that call.

Seahawks call was the dumbest call in Super-Bowl history, that can't be denied, BUT our game was close with the Pats, neither team dominated the other... Falcons dominated through 3 quarters, 28-3 lead late in the 3rd... And to make matters worse they were in field goal range on the 21 yard line up 8, 1st and 10 with 3 min to go and they knocked themselves out of field goal range ...

2014 was one call. This year was an unprecedented series of inexplicable play calls in rapid fire succession. This year in a landslide

I was going to say the same thing. All you have to look at is the deficit. 2014 was a 10 point comback. Last night 25 points. That is all you need to know.

If Belichick himself had drawn up the plays he'd like Atlanta to run on 3rd and 1 and then later when they were in FG range he could not have done a better job for NE than Shanahan did lol

Honestly thought that was picked and was just about ready to blow a gasket... Then ball drops and exhale to the max!

The Falcons losing it has to be considered worse than the Seahawks. I feel so bad for Falcons' fans. With the Seahawks, we're really talking about one play (throwing the ball instead of giving it to Marshawn), but with the Falcons, there were so many things that had to go the Pats' way for the comeback to happen, and they all did. Then in OT, as if the football gods were telling Atlanta that they really, truly were totally screwed, even the coin toss goes the Pats' way.

Gotta go with Pats just being better.

Coaches all part of the team. Team game.

Pats as a whole are better than both.

Seems simple.

Hahahaha....

Too good.

Sure it can.

The cognitive dissonance is amazing in this thread.

Belichek, the genius who orchestrated this latest comeback, said that Lynch wan't going to beat them on that play, and here's the dirty little secret, Marshawn had been shitty in obvious running short yardage situations for a season and a half.

In hindsight Seattle's was just a bad play call.

In hindsight Atlanta was a choke-job of epic proportions aided by very stupid play calling from Kyle Shanahan with a 25 point lead.

I wonder how Frisco is feeling now with Kyle as HC.

1st and 10 on the 22. 39 yard FG at worse if you run into the line 3 times.

The coach would tell his team there is two things you can't do. Take a sack and draw a penalty. They did both on consecutive plays. What transpired after that sick Julio Jones catch was the game.

1 play is 1 play. Brady/Bill almost duplicated the Hawks play by nearly throwing a pick to Beasley.

But blowing a 25 point lead and the fashion they did it (you're on the 22 yard line with 3:30 left and your defense is GASSED... run it 3 times and if you DON'T get a first down, kick a field goal, not like Freeman/Coleman are exactly BAD options... one helped carry my FF team this year) was horrendous.
