His next GM gig probably....LOLI wonder what Masai is up to
I agree. I just picked Miami because I can see Riles wanting to make an offer and like them as a WC.6ers make the most sense to me from a trade return and fit perspective.
I would bet Philly or Portland as the 2 most likely cities for Dame to start next season in.
They asked for Pritchard but that was a deal breaker for the Cs.He'll be traded to the Celtics. The Blazers will get Carsen Edwards, Tacko Fall, Jabari Parker and a 2022 1st rounder.
I disagree. There’s one guy in that group that’s been a 3 time all star that still has an upside that could be greater than any guy in that Laker deal. Simmons is also likely a better player than both Schroeder and Kuzma even if he adds nothing to his game in my opinion. Another leg up for the Sixers is the fact that Minnesota really covets Simmons. I would think a 3 way deal with Minnesota gives Portland more options as well with KAT Russell and Anthony Edwards. This is why the Sixers signed Morey. Need that guy to get creative. I don’t know who Quentin Mayo is but dude tweeted this a little while ago:You sure about that?
Schroeder and Kuzma are about the same as Simmons, Maxey and multiple firsts, right?
I came up with this suggestion a month ago. And now it looks like it can really happen. I believe @fightinfunbags came up with a couple of scenarios to make it possible. This would be huge for the Sixers if management can make it work. It's interesting, will the Blazers accomodate Lilliard and trade him to a team he wants to play for or will they get the best deal for him?
Billups has to be rethinking taking that job now.....
He’s been kicking the tires on a Ben Simmons trade. They’re one of 5 teams thus far that have talked to the Sixers about Simmons. The 5 I read were Indiana, Sacramento, Toronto, Cleveland, and Minnesota.I wonder what Masai is up to
Ya i remember many saying the same about kawaiHis next GM gig probably....LOL
Lilliard won't end up in Toronto.
Only option i see is a sign and trade for Lowry if he/they decide he isnt coming backHe’s been kicking the tires on a Ben Simmons trade. They’re one of 5 teams thus far that have talked to the Sixers about Simmons. The 5 I read were Indiana, Sacramento, Toronto, Cleveland, and Minnesota.
Morey and I were talking today over espresso. His kids are doing well. He says Simmons Maxey and 2 1sts with no protection gets it done. Then Meek Mill sat down and the conversation stopped cause Meek run his mouth like that.I came up with this suggestion a month ago. And now it looks like it can really happen. Yes, that would be a horrible deal.
Like ranked among worst trade ever kind of deal.
You don’t get to trade a package of solid vets for a prime superstar.
The Blazers are going to want young talent and upside back. The Lakers don’t have that.
Based on the other stuff I’m hearing involving Simmons the Lowry/Embiid/Harris group may be the best option in a non-Dame Simmons trade. The other options look like Sexton Love, D’Angelo Russell and picks, Brogdan and LaVert, and Hield Bagley. None of that moves me and the better option would be to hold onto 24 year old Simmons and try and repair the asset if that’s all he brings.Only option i see is a sign and trade for Lowry if he/they decide he isnt coming back
Powerhouses all LOL. Poor Ben.He’s been kicking the tires on a Ben Simmons trade. They’re one of 5 teams thus far that have talked to the Sixers about Simmons. The 5 I read were Indiana, Sacramento, Toronto, Cleveland, and Minnesota.
And that still might not be enough.
Lakers aren’t getting Lillard this season unless they are trading AD.
Those would actually be solid landing spots for him. Those franchises are low with small media (Cleveland loves their sports though) which is what he needs. He took the Sixers immediately to being a 50 win team. He’s a solid regular season player and those teams don’t really have big expectations. He has room and time to grow with a group like that.Powerhouses all LOL. Poor Ben.
