It's no secret he will most likely be leaving Tennessee in the off-season. Former 2,000 yard rusher, one of the fastest and most explosive backs in the game. At one point, possibly the best. But since that 2,000 yard rushing season, he's been very inconsistent. All that being said, where do you think he ends up?

Could a team like the Jets be interested? Maybe the Falcons or Browns?

I could see:
Jets have the salary room to make a run at him, and a need
Raiders have the room, not sure about the need
Dolphins have the room and a need

Falcons could make cap room, but not sure they would
Browns would make sense, but depends on their draft.

Think so? Dolphins have Miller and Thomas at the RB position already though.
Raiders, well they have an often injured DMC.
Wish the Falcons would have waited one more off-season for a RB and passed on Jackson last year to make a run at CJ this year.
Think the Browns could be a fit, but think they will go after Ben Tate, if he leaves Houston.

The Jets do NOT have the salary room for this guy. Financially they are in as dire straits as the NY Mets.

Believe there is a few contracts they can dump to open up space for him.

For OAk, I really like Jennings and I think they do too.

It's rare to get cut and become the every down back for another team...it depends if CJ is ready to become a role player (Sproles like role) and maybe win a ring, or still thinks he's the primary RB on a bad to mediocre team.

Role player...I can see a team like SEA wanting a change of pace guy, probably 4 or 5 more teams...but the money will be the deciding factor.

I don't think CJ will take on a Sproles-like role, think he wants to be the feature back wherever he winds up.

I agree and that makes it a lot harder to place him because he's not really THAT guy anymore and no one is going to commit much cap space to a RB not named AP.

True, but I think somebody desperate for a RB may pont up some cash, like Cleveland. Unless they find a cheaper option, like Tate for example.

He's a shadow of his former self. He's going to want top dollar so it has to be some team desperate for a RB with lots of money.

CLE...yes they have a need, but also loaded with picks...they could take the #1 rb off the board in the 2nd round likely...that said, CJ is not really an AFCN kind of RB imo...Tate might up being more expensive actually...I'm not expecting a lot of demand for CJ as an every down RB.

CJ will want more money than most teams will be willing to pay in my opinion.
I am sure some team will over pay for him. Maybe not as much as he thinks he is worth, but some team will give him an over paying contract.
With that said it will probably be a team that doesn't have a ton of money invested in their QB position. Which automatically eliminates a lot of teams.

Unless like some other poster pointed. He is looking for a team to get a ring, but it seems to me he is looking for the cash.

If the Jags move MJD they could be a player for him perhaps?
