When my draft starts next month I am expecting at least 10 people out of 12 to be available.
However I would say we have 2 people besides me who probably do a lot of research.

But by positions at least in the first few rounds for QB, WR, and RB.
RB
Stacy
Bush
Bell
Johnson
Ball

WR
Cobb
Patterson
Brown

QB
Newton
RGIII
Luck
Stafford
Brady

Any round you see a TE going
TE
Gronk
Thomas
Davis
Ertz
Ebron
Green(the latter three sleeper potential)

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Not sure if you subscribe to ADP rankings or not? I seem to remember a post where someone thought ADP was rather pointless. But ADP can tell you how a player is trending. And all of the information is right in front of you for reference. I use both FantasyPros and FantasyFootballCalulator.

What's the difference?

Pros are the consensus rankings of the FF "experts." And Calulator is the combined results of mock drafts. Both will not only show the average ranking/position, but it will give you the high and lows.

For instance, Zac Stacy overall of today: Pros has him at #23 (2nd round). His high is 15 and his low is 48. Meanwhile, Calulator has him going at #27 (3rd round). High on that site is 7 and his low is 57 (4.09).

Among just backs, Pros has him #13 (high 9, low 22). Calculator has him #14.

What's also nice about Calculator is that you can graph individual players. For instance, some lunatics with a fantasy death wish (who shall be nameless) have Monte Ball ranked in the top 5.

Calculator has a graph that shows Ball went from a 3rd round pick in March to a 1st round pick today.

Patterson - 5th/6th
Brown - 4th/5th

QB
Newton - 6th-8th
RGIII - 7th - 9th
Luck - 4th - 6th

Gronk - 3rd/4th
Thomas - 2nd/3rd
Davis - 3rd/4th
Ertz
Ebron
Green(the latter three sleeper potential)

the other 3 TEs are late round grabs at best. Don't waste your time reaching for any single one of them, since they all three will probably be available and each has some breakout potential this year, but I don't think any will be top 5. Green>Ebron>Ertz if you want me to rank them.

Wow thanks. But I dount Patterson falls to the fifth. And Brown has been third in mocks, but who knows in the real drafts.
