I see another fantastic draft by BB and friends much like the past couple of drafts.
This team will be strong in 2023 and stronger beyond.
He had better get a good draft!

DoubtfulI wonder if BB goes Special Teams with his first pick since Slater is all but gone and so too most likely is Mccourty
Downs 2nd or even 3rd round.ok checked 6 mocks got 6 different players
cam smith cb s car
broderick jones ot ga
josh downs wr nc
deven witherspoon cb ill
joey porter cb penn st
jordon addison wr usc
wanna bet BB doesnt take any of them?
Doubtful
Most special team players are guys that are decent players but not starters or even subs for the most part. There are way to many needs at O line, LB, Safety. TE. If we take an ATH for ST it will be round 5 through 7we know how much importance BB puts into Special Teams

Smith has been a failureWhy would they go TE? They don't use them anyway and they paid the two they have how much?
Smith has been a failure
Henry has been unreliable.
We have not used them for these reasons.....
I have not looked at 1st round picks yet but I suspect we are not getting a TE in 1st.....
If we got an excellent blocking TE in the 6th, I'd be happy.
Don't pay $10 million for a pass dropper!
He'll pick someone none of us expects. But that's not a bad thing. BBs drafts have been pretty good.
Oline and a TE is where he should be looking.
They clearly BB fucked up on the value of those two by extending them
I believe this to be true. I said what I said because others were saying they weren't goodRyan fucking tannehill made Jonnu look good.
It’s a scheme issue

Well that is why we talk about replacing our OC in the other thread. Henry is a good TE bring in Mayer now that is a real threat which opens up edge plays. J Smith will be gone no way BB keeps him so there is a need. And if the best TE in all the draft falls to 14 and we have addressed OT in the FA market its foolish to not take himWhy would they go TE? They don't use them anyway and they paid the two they have how much?
Not sure why there are two people wondering about this. Let me break this down.Well that is why we talk about replacing our OC in the other thread. Mayer is not a 1st round TE, IMHO (size and blocking)Not sure why there are two people wondering about this. Let me break this down.
1. Matt P didn't effectively use our TEs IMO b/c he lacks exp as an OC which is why we talked about finding his replacement.
2. We have Henry and Smith, Smith has not caught on at all, and BB will not retain him. That creates a need for the position.
3. At 14 or 15, 14 I think if Mayer is there the best TE in the draft I don't feel BB would pass on him less there is a really good OT.
4. Smith leaving creates a need for the position.

Only 1st rounder would be Brock Bowers but he'll be gone by 14.
His teammate as one of our 3rd round picks would be a solid blocker with pass catching ability.
Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia
Height: 6-7. Weight: 265.
