I agree he was a better scorer but he was also just 28 when he went to the Lakers.

Not close to being past his prime most of the time with Magic. He averaged 23.4ppg at 38. His final 3 seasons were when he declined quickly.
kareem joined the lakers in 1975, magic joined them in 1979. thats puts kareem at @32.

jordan couldn't have stopped the sky hook on his best day and with jordan kiss ass david stern playing referee.

Then why didn't Kareem score 50ppg with 6 skyhooks a quarter?

Wilt played in an era of a bunch of 6 foot white guys like Russell. And even after all this Russell only managed to be a career 15ppg. And wilt still won limited titles.

Its hard to compare players when back when in the 50s and 60s to the 80s-present

you really need to study some history about the nba. russell was not a 6 white guy. he was a 6'10" world cass high jumper. wilt had 55 rebounds in one game vs russell.

the average height of NBA centers back in Wilt's day was 6'10".

the league was smaller, so he was playing a top-ten center every night.

in 1967, Wilt faced guys like Bill Russell, Jerry Lucas, Walt Bellamy, Willis Reed, LeRoy Ellis, Nate Thurmond, Zelmo Beaty, Darrall Imhoff, etc. EVERY NIGHT, mostly hall of famers.

why didn't jordan?

Because Jordan didn't have the undefendable skyhook. I was directly responding to your comment about that shot. If it was so undefendable why didn't he score 50/game?

if kareem had taken more shots he would have, like wilt did. basketball is actually a team sport.

I never said Russell was a 6 foot white guy. I said both played primarily in a tiny league against 6 foot white guys. The league was mainly small guys. Sure there were some big players but very few in height and weight compared to the last 20-30 years.

is an average height of 6'10" short? there are no centers in todays game comparable to jabbar or chamberlain.

You're wrong. The average center was 6-6 to 6-9 at that time.

Wilt was a 7-foot freak.

Keep grasping at straws.
