Holmgren got a street named after him, which he deserved, but Pete already has as many playoff wins as every other coach in Seahawk history. Combined. And barring disaster he will overtake Holmgren in total wins before he is done. One more Division title ties him with the The Walrus for the team record in that category as well.

And there is also the small matter of the teams first SB win.

Does he get the team plane named after him? The stadium? What?

Pete looks up to John Wooden and Bud Grant who both coached late into their careers. I would not be surprised if Pete coached well into his 70's as long as he is capish with everything going on around him.

The team itself will put him in its Ring of Honor and probably rename the main practice field at the VMAC after him. What the city does will probably depend on how he finishes his career here.

Pete lost some tough games at USC as well and bounced back strong... I have confidence in this guy ... He's a great coach that does take risks sometimes... As we all know... Future is strong though under Pete, team is still young and has a window ..
