As of his performance against the Vikings thus far and his whole season so far, how good is Kirk Cousins?

Is he elite? (Top 5 in the league)

Top 10?

Top 20?

Top 30?

Where about would you rank Kirk Cousins this year?
Top 20-ish. Good enough to give false hope, but not good enough to actually win anything of importance.

Let's see, GENERAL consensus, well Not a MAJOR fuck up, so a CORPORAL knowledge of team chemistry hinders any PRIVATE opinion becoming some CAPTAIN chaos against his SEARGENT demeanor

He can win it all like Brad Johnson or Trent Dilfer. He is better than those 2, but not a guy that is the reason you would win it all.

Cousins was paid because he was in the right place with the right skills, whether real or perceived, he reaped the rewards.

You actually do have to give him a little bit of credit for being savvy. Or at least his agent is. Not a lot of guys would have played under the tag two years in a row. They would have accepted a longer term deal right away that WA was offering.

I agree, but wonder if he just wanted nothing to do with that organization.

Old man Kirk is light years better than Watson or the three named guy. Not a bad bridge to whatever young guy they bring in.
What did Winston do to get shunned by the browns anyways? He didnt play great but he did better than those other two.

If Raheem and the coaching staff knew about this yet continued to play him anyway instead of going to Penix, that’s inexcusable. Switching to Penix might’ve saved our season. This is a really bad look for the Falcons, and I think Raheem‘s seat just got hotter - I honestly think he may be gone if we don’t make the playoffs in 2025

I bet Cousins is just saying this so other teams will take a harder look at him.

Although by now most teams should realize what a “healthier” Kirk brings to the table.

well I think it works out better for Penix & the falcons if they waited until they felt he was ready. Sometimes throwing a rookie QB in to soon ruins them. Honestly if I were a falcons fan. Iwould be happy with the situation you find yourself in.

Then again you also have to figure in how much truth there is to his injuries.
Stating this help him & the Falcons if they can trade him. If I am the Falcons I would be claiming oh yeah. Cousins was all fucked up when he was playing.

In his defense...his numbers did fall off a cliff. He went from throwing for 500 yards in a game to not even being able to throw for one touchdown per game. That being said...he'll soon be 37. No team without a capable backup will want him.
