Daughter can cut back on the wedding, maybe do a backyard Justice of the Peace shotgun style wedding. I assume you already own the shotgun and the shells.

Tell the Wife to suck it up buttercup, but maybe phrase it better, and go ahead and get the couch made up first.

Skip the charity donation, and donate a few free Sundays of your time once the season is over, a little sweat donation if you will.
