It depends on what you think the Playoffs are for.

1. To find the best team in the nation.

or

2. Putting in the 4 best teams.

It's obviously #1, and it isn't the responsibility of the rest of the country to determine the best team in the SEC, that's the SEC's job.

So, in your scenario:
Georgia
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Clemson

I'm thinking in this scenario the playoff committee has to put all 4 champs in otherwise their credibility will be shit.

So bama and burn are out.

Auburn and UGA would have the best resumes, but I don't think the committee would pass on 3 other undefeated P5 teams.

What if Michigan uses it's elite talent to put a productive offensive and defensive team on the field in the same game?

That would be nice.

An unbeaten P5 champ is in and they wouldn't take a 1 loss non SEC champ over a 1 loss SEC champ

Now if UGA had 2 losses stuff would get interesting

USC will get in.

They'll probably have 2 or 3 losses, but that won't matter because they will have been on a tear and the committee will have to see that and have to take it in to account.

Plus, they will have had wins over a couple of top 25 teams. So they would have to be one of the top 4 teams in the nation.

The committee will also have to consider the fact that it would save Clay Helton's job and he's a really good guy that everyone likes.

Oh wait...

Is this not the scenario village thread?

nvm

Georgia gets in being the SEC CCG winner other 2 sec teams shoulda done better to make it to the post season everyone else at 13-0 is automatic

It’s not a serious question, no undefeated P5 champ is being left out in favor of 1 loss conference champion, much less a non conference champion. There’s no question Georgia gets in over Auburn and Alabama in that scenario. Just more paranoia about the SEC.
