It did not meet all the requirements. Go to the BCS site to see the explanation.
Who didn't the BE?

No, the BE did not have 50% of its teams finish in top 25 BCS rankings over the evaluated period.
I do not remember this being one to the stipulations at the time, but it is mathematically impossible for every conf to have 50% of teams in top 25, I think the SEC just did it for the first time this year.
Plus I thought it was final top10 we had to be apart of, which of course we did for the conf 3 Years in a row....if it was 50% of teams in top 25 that is a rediculous standard and new to me.
Well, every conference among the AQ were able to do it but one.
BB, look at what you just wrote, it is IMPOSSIBLE for 50% of BSC schools to be in the top 25, at the time there were 65 BSC teams................... As to spin, OU beat 'Bama, two teams played, one won, one lost.

This was the category which the BE did not meet the requirement... I will try to clean it up...

I don't know what particular year you are talking so I will assume 12 SEC, 12 ACC, 11 B11, 8 BE, 10 PAC, etc.
100% SEC 12 teams
78%B11 8 teams
66% PAC 7 teams
64% B12 8 teams
57% ACC 7 teams
49% BE 4 teams
I am already counting 49 teams to be in your top 25, as I said, it is impossible, so post all the stuff you want to. Half of 65 is 37, plus there is always a few non AQ teams in the top 25, so give it up.
I don't have to give up anything. It is sound evidence from the bcsfootball.org site.
Now, if you want to give up... I will understand.
if one were to understand how the bcs does their ranking then maybe simple calculation would work but since we dont have to deal with it anymore who really cares based on simple math you cant have 50 teams in the top 25 makes sense but since the bcs never made sense it can be argued both ways
