The Q
Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
Why you satisfy everyone? Even the networks would be happy.
They would be most happy not upending them schedule
Call it a tie and move on

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. If the Eagles were hot, I’d worry about 2 weeks off. That gives them more recovery time for Gardiner Johnson, Maddox, Lane JohnsonThis would be the dumbest fucking outcome they could do. It's completely nonsensical.
It completely fucks over the NFC #1 seed for no reason with 2 straight weeks off.
Just push the start of the entire playoffs back a week if they must. Or better yet just declare the Bengals-Bills game no contest and move on.
That's for sure.Give him a call, I'm sure nobody has thought of this in the league office
Start play right on the spot his heart was to honor him.I think its going to be a no contest. Think about it in the Bills perspective...
* Get back on the plane to Cincinnati.
* Start the game and spot the ball a few inches to the right from where Hamlin needed CPR and was technically dead and had to be revived at. Play on.
It's asinine, insane, all of it is lunacy. No contest.
If BUF-CIN is cancelled...what about eliminating the bye week by adding an 8th playoff team in each conference...? Just as they did in 1982. By projection it could potentially look like this...
AFC
(1)KC (14-3) vs (8)PIT (9-8)
(2)BUF (13-3) vs (7)MIA (9-8)
(3)CIN (12-4) vs (6)BAL (10-7)
(4)JAX (9-8) vs (5)LAC (11-6)
NFC
(1)PHI (14-3) vs (8)SEA (9-8)
(2)SF (13-4) vs (7)GB (9-8)
(3)MIN (13-4) vs (6)NYG (9-7-1)
(4)TB (9-8) vs (5)DAL (13-4)
This way, there's no advantage regarding a team that got a bye "unfairly" for lack of a better term (KC). In the end, it's somewhat of a who cares situation, but for specifically the game of football I think this would work.
I suppose the NFC wouldn't have to do it, but for symmetry I included them. If the NFL did implement this for both conferences would the Eagles dare complain after all that's transpired? This might be the most fair way as the only team screwed by this is the eagles

Agreed they're only saying to add the first round of wildcards in NFC so that the networks are happy. No big deal if teams end up with a bye week not sure why some people are so offended. Extra week means healthier players and better games.Play week 18 and if Cinncy/Buf is needed to be determined then have them play the following Sunday and push the playoffs back 1 week.

Calling the game at 7-3 is ideal in this situation. Everything that actually happened counts. No funny business. There is no answer that is fair for eveyone
None
That one actually has the least damage
#1 cannot happen.
It's either
1. No contest
2. A tie
3. A forfeit
4. Played after week 18. Logistically this is not great as all WC games will have to be pushed back.
I’ll give ya credit. You’re consistent. You’ve adopted a retarded point of view but you’re clinging to it with a death grip.Calling the game at 7-3 is ideal in this situation. Everything that actually happened counts. No funny business.

I felt from the beginning this was the option they would pick and still feel that way. It's by a mile the least disruptive option and only really has the potential for any negative impact on the two teams involved in the game. It will be no game played, not a tie. Why would you change the entire schedule when you don't have to? This decision should have taken the league 30 minutes to come to.
