This is a much better option that the full on retard one being floated yesterday by the league.
This was dismissed as a bad idea by Florio (who heard it as a one of many rumored solutions) and his host but it seems like the most fair solution I've heard so far...
-Play week 18 as scheduled
-The next week will be Bills/Bengals and the NFC Wild Card games.
-The Week after that is the AFC Wild Card games.
-Now the Divisional round is set, just continue as normal from there with the bye week before the SB eliminated
Cool. And that’s exactly why I’m pushing back on that fuckstick I was talking to wanting to declare the Bills the loser and the Bengals the winner after 1/6 of the game is played. You think the Bengals settle for a fg if they can't punch that td in? Of course they do, but they didn't have to because they got a TD. They had no idea either.
This seems to be the best plan.
Only problem, the eagles & Chiefs will have two weeks inactive. Built in excuse for fans.
Still can't wait.
It really doesn't matter. The Bengals are the only team getting screwed here. We are used to it. So we will just go on about our business. Basically taking the option out of our hands. Bengals no longer have a chance for #1 seed. That was ripped right away from them the second they consider this a no contest. Basically you are looking at keeping the Bills and Chiefs at 1 and 2 just like the league wanted. Cincinnati does the right thing, and they get punished for it. Way of the world. A lot of nice people get screwed in this world.Cool. Weird energy in week 18 given their rules cover this scenario via win %.This is a much better option that the full on retard one being floated yesterday by the league.
Yikes. This has beta cuck little man syndrome written all over it. I think I even heard a sad violin in the background as I read it. Maybe you should change that Bengal tiger logo to an Eeyore donkey on the helmet. It really doesn't matter. The Bengals are the only team getting screwed here. We are used to it. If the score wasn't 7-3 and the Bills team voted to go home tuesday morning instead of waiting on league decisions, I consider it a forfeit by Buffalo and that should be a Cincinnati win. However, it doesn't mean squat, as the league is not going to want to affect their preseason favorites that badly.
I am just glad Demar is doing a little better. He seems like a really good kid and I hope he has a very long and happy life ahead of him. Cincinnati will take the bullet for the league. *thumbs up*
Looks like some reasonable options. And here I was sure that the NFL would screw this up...but there is still time...This is a much better option that the full on retard one being floated yesterday by the league.
This an absolutely terrible awful proposal.
What specifically is wrong with it?
Sure sure. Like I said, used to it. Been a Bengals fan since I moved back to Ohio when I was 9, so I have been since the early 80's. Once you get a certain perception on your organization, it is hard to change. I can see change on the horizon from the league falling in love with Taylor and Burrow, but it isn't there yet. In the meantime, we will assume the position of bending over the jailhouse bunk one last time.Yikes. This has beta cuck little man syndrome written all over it. I think I even heard a sad violin in the background as I read it. Maybe you should change that Bengal tiger logo to an Eeyore donkey on the helmet.
Oh, so you don't like it when your team gets fucked over huh? I am just verifying you are saying this.It completely fucks over the NFC #1 seed for no fucking reason whatsoever forcing them to be inactive for over 2 weeks. The whole concept of it is so stupid giving every team a bye as well.
It blows my mind how people can look at that brain dead proposal and think it would be anywhere close to a good idea.

It is what it is, we didn't have that epic game in the divisional round with KC like Buffalo did last year. So everyone wanted to see a rematch of that game as an AFC Champinionship game, so if you line them up at 1 and 2 and they can win, you get that game.
Look at the bright side. If things don't work out, built in excuse all offseason for fans.Oh, so you don't like it when your team gets fucked over huh? I am just verifying you are saying this.
Wow, the amount of woe is me in this post is enough to almost make me cry. You should seriously consider acting because you are a fucking drama queen.Someone has to get f'd. Let it just be the Bengals. If you give the Bengals the win, even though it was Buffalo who had the hurt player and chose to leave the city that night, then you screw the Ravens.
If you give the win to Buffalo, you are potentially screwing KC, but once again, I don't think it is a major screwing of KC as they have a lesser opponent to beat with less baggage to overcome like the Bills. So the Bills have the #1 seed heading into week 18, tied with KC. Both would need to win to hold on to it, and Buffalo has a bigger huddle to over come.
Baltimore in week 18 gets to play for the AFC North crown. Buffalo has to bring their A game to hold on to that #1 seed against New England, so that gives Miami and Pittsburgh hope still.
The only team on the outside looking in, are the Bengals, but once again, they still control their own destiny in the AFC North if they win. If they lose, they drop back, but don't lose the playoff birth. Just have to win on the road the whole way.
So give Cincinnati a loss, make everyone happy, and we are happy because we can be everyones bitch yet again. Here's your little fucking fiddle playing. *chirp chirp chirp*
Right on brother riding in on his high horse. I am over it already. I don't even care anymore. It is what it is. As we have stated, too many teams get screwed with different scenarios, except the Colts of course, because they suck ass. They are good to go.Wow, the amount of woe is me in this post is enough to almost make me cry. You should seriously consider acting because you are a fucking drama queen.
