Johnny Winters rocked the house. Saw a concert with him and brother Edgar. Saw him in a little club in Brew Town a month before he passed. Ho could hardly walk and was seated throughout the set but didn't affect his playing. Best white blues guitarist and slide guitarist IMO.Led Zeppelin 1971

Agreed. Didn't really care for Edgar's music but he could blow a mean sax. Went more to see his brother.I saw him with Rick Derringer. Awesome.
But watching his sfuff on YouTube I learned that even though that band did the best ever Jumping Jack Flash, that his stuff not do rocking but more bluesy was even better.
Not being a huge fan of synthesizer music I didn’t really like Edgars contributions to things. Never like Manfred Mann in the Earth band, I didn’t really care about overly much about the Moody, blues and people like that. Didn’t really care about yes that much but I had the obligatory albums.

Kick ass album. Took many a bong hits listening to that albumI was in the local cool record store in 1970/71 and the salesman in the cool record store who happened to be the coolest guy in town (and eventually became a writer for the Vancouver, underground newspaper, the Georgia Straight) to buy Johnny Winter And Live. I’ve never regretted it.
Damn nice list. Not a lot of Gen X lists yet, but lots of love for those who saw the likes of Zeppelin, Pink Floyd & Stevie Ray Vaughan. I am extremely jealous.

WigglesI took my wife, daughter and daughter in law to see Fleetwood Mac last week. I was preparing for a let down considering the last time I saw them was in 77 for the Rumors tour but was pleasantly surprised on the overall quality of their performance. Hard to believe that they are all in the late 60's - early 70's and still being able to rock like that.
Anyway, it got me to thinking. I have been very blessed to see many of the "super groups" in their prime during my lifetime and was wondering what are your favorite concerts of all time
My list in no particular order
Pink Floyd (77 tour)
Yes 25th Anniversary Tour
