Having some family over. Got the refrigerator in the garage stocked with an assortment of drinks! Going to fix fried chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. Little Smokies, vegetables with homemade ranch dip, spinach dip, chips. Nothing special. But still good.

Nutri-System snack. I think I'll have chocolate covered pretzels. Glass of ice water.

On my way to skinny.

Started dieting on January 18th. Started Nutri-System yesterday. Did it about 18 years ago and lost 48 lbs. in 8 weeks. Plan to drop 60 in the next 12 weeks.

I'm getting one of those when we get the house in Nashville.

We ordered wings and ribs last night, and then we went out and filled a growler with a nice hazy IPA.

Pouring rain today so we couldn't smoke or grill anyway.

The story they tell at the barbecue place is that when they built the place and bought the giant smoker, the owner was friends with the Redskins organization, so they had a bunch of linemen come in to help move that metal mother into the kitchen.

I don't know yet.....the fiance and myself have some stuff to do this AM.

Probably include some tortilla chips, cheese and beer.....don't forget the beer, people.

1, Clam Chowdah...duh...

2, Pulled Pork Sliders

3, BWW for some wings too.

4, Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies, that's right, milk chocolate chips, semi sweet chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips. and about twice as many as what is needed. Last time I also put shaved chocolate cocoa in the batter....and Silly Cow sweetened cocoa...and my wife said that was not just over the top, it was too much. So, as this is a family event this evening, I backed it off for her.

The fact that you have every label facing forward is disturbing.

Is this a joke?

I'm not getting it...???
The smoker barely gets hot in the summer, and the grill barely gets hot anytime. Getting a new Weber this year.

I used to grill in the middle of Snowmageddon in Massachusetts, but this grill needs a trip to the dump.

Just found some chowdah I made a month ago in the freezer, thawing that baby as we speak, yummy.

Just like chips and guac. As far as alcohol, got a variety pack in the fridge from Oskar's Blues (Dale's Pale Ale is their best-known I think)
