kind of thinking this is a bad move, If he had a great game he could easily jump past Williams for the number 1 pick

He's really 6'4", 210? He looks like a scrawny lil' beanpole on tv

Had hoped he’d come out last year and get drafted by the Lions.

Big fan of what he brings to an offense. Hope he doesn’t go to Chicago or Minnesota.

Sports reference lists him as 6'3 185. I guess we will see at the combine what he weighs in at. He definitely needs to put on some bulk, imo.
He's got the height, but I wonder if adding more pounds would make him slower when scrambling. The size he's at right now it seems like he'd get broken in half by NFL d-linemen

He and all others should skip the bowl game's. They are basically a collegiate money grab. Their future is on the line. And I feel he goes top 20.

LSUs receivers are a nightmare to cover at the college level and when you factor in Daniels' wheels and LSU's offense was really too easy. If LSU even had an average defense they would've been in the playoffs.

I guess the big question with Daniels is whether or not you cater your offense around his running ability. If so, possibly a great NFL player if you can keep him healthy. I do think you can pick apart his ball placement a lot when you watch him play but when you have elite speed and elite receivers then it opens up an offense.

The playoff has diminished the value of the other bowl games. They are afterthoughts, basically exhibition games.

I would expect the top 3 QBs to be off the board in the top 10, and possibly more if anyone trades up to get ahead of the Falcons. Bears, Pats, Manders, Giants all possible QB landing spots in the top 7. I would include the Jets, but if Rodgers is playing next year, they REALLY need to improve that line.

Anyone that drafts him and doesn't play to his strengths is doing it wrong IMO. If you want a pocket passer, there are other options.

I can see them going top 10. Personally I would like the Pats to grab a LT then a QB. But I suspect we will a new coach, new GM and Kraft will want some input.

Might be able to get a T in the 2nd, but a day one LT probably not.

If we are drafting at number 2 we should be able to get a LT

How many sure-fire LTs do you see in the draft? The top 2 for sure (Fashanu, Alt), but after that a lot of the college LTs are projected to RT or inside. Mims would be a 3rd, but he hasn't declared yet and is coming off of ankle surgery. Depends on your team's evaluation of the other T prospects and whether or not they're legit LT options. I certainly can't make that evaluation, just going off what I've read.

I like Alt, and he should be there at #2. Been watching him all year, I like his footwork and length. He's a big agile athletic guy. If I am GM for a day I am taking Alt at 2, then I grab Bo Nix in round two and maybe Jordan Morgan round three. We draft Strange LG two years ago and a few interior guys last year. Now these selections are dependent on the Pats securing Evans or Ridley or both in the FA market. The Pats have a lot of cap space this year.

But in the end what do I know?

Uff... I pity him if that is accurate, might break him in half in the NFL.

I am 6'2" 190+... no fat, but would want a lot more muscle on my body taking hits from DL and LBs much larger.

Average NFL QB is 219lbs.

At #2, sure. Most likely you would have your choice of tackles. I was talking about taking tackle in the 2nd round (with probably the top 4 or 5 off the board). Not sure Nix makes it to round 2, but he could. I think we could see the top 5 QBs in the first round, but there's still a lot of evaluation and workouts to come first.
