Small gathering this year. Just me and the wife, my best friend and his wife, my son and the middle daughter.

Brisket, homemade mac and cheese, tater salad, chips and dip, some kind of regular salad that the women will eat and the guys will put on our plates and pretend to eat, peach pie and weed.

I love me a good Romaine and spinach salad every now and again....but I add parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon (huge bag from Costco) and either ceasar dressing or italian to make it taste better. Bought a bacon ranch (among the 4 kinds I bought at the store recently) that I haven't tried yet. These dressings also double as dips for chips, wings and stuff.

Started dieting on January 18th. Started Nutri-System yesterday. Did it about 18 years ago and lost 48 lbs. in 8 weeks. Plan to drop 60 in the next 12 weeks.
