Watchin' the Ravens is making me think they should be the AFC favourites at this point. They're lookin' pretty bad. And I mean bad as in the Michael Jackson song, not bad as in the British Association of Dermatologists or Nicolas Cage's character in Kiss of death.

Bad as in Samuel L Jackson's wallet in Pulp Fiction, not bad as in Tim Tebow's QB play.

Ravens, Patriots, Houston, and Denver are all pretty scary.

Denver is scary cause anything can happen in the playoffs, but I'm not like super scared because Peyton is a lot like Steve Young, Brett Favre, and Dan Marino.... lethal in the regular season but not much to be scared of in the playoffs unless they get hot... and they never seemed to get hot except for one year.

I would say Houston and Baltimore but New England will probably win the AFC just feel like they do all the right things till they get to the Super Bowl

That is a great point about the post-season on PM - What impressed me much more than the Broncos offense last night was their defense.

New England does have the coaching X-Factor for sure - Another great point!

I don't what you are talking about, but Steve young is The Greatest of All-time.

I'd say the Ravens followed by the Patriots (with their revamped defense). Both are beatable of course, but they would be very tough games.

Don't get me wrong Belicheck and his staff is really good coaching staff but I think it's a bit overrated now. He hasn't won a Superbowl since he got caught cheating.

I'd say Houston. The ravens being a close second. Not having Suggs will show up against better teams. Cincy looked terrible. Their starters on D couldn't even stop the ravens backups. The jury is still out on New England's defense.

Houston for sure. Schaub is under estimated as well as their offense as a whole. Their Defense may be better than the Ravens. I except the Texans and Ravens to battle it out in the playoffs.

Ha, I love Steve Young. With the exception of when he went up against Joe Montana in 1994, he was ALWAYS the best QB on the field. always

Its just that I've struggled with his playoff games. I know that he and the 49ers got screwed by the refs soooooo many times against the Cowboys and Packers, soooo many times the refs pulled points off the board. But, realistically he was more like Marino and Favre in the playoffs... instead of like Joe.

he had no running game at all. can u imagine if we kept shanahan and had terrell davis? if hearst didn't get injured he would have won a second.

Schaub or Andre Johnson will end up being hurt by mid to late December.

That leaves the Ravens and Denver.

We can outright eliminate the Broncos ground game. Peyton Manning will not be able to beat us all by himself. Their defense though can give us headaches (they're young and will only get better as the season goes on).

The Ravens without Suggs is anybody's game. Suggs is the determining factor. Even if he comes back this season, he's not going to play with the same explosiveness until 2013.

The Chiefs can come alive if (Poe, Baldwin, Bowe, and Strout step up). DJ, Houston and Hali are "headaches".
