Phillies Mock Trade: Aaron Altherr for Matt Shoemaker

"Of course, the first player we asked about was Philly-area native Mike Trout, but as expected we got nowhere in those talks. Albert Pujols’ name was brought up by Los Angeles, but the Phillies have no room for another big contract, aging first baseman clogging up the pipeline."

Who is this representative for LA that thinks we would seriously consider trading for fucking Albert Pujols? And who on the Phillies' side thinks we have the pieces for Mike Trout?

Who is the LA representative who thinks they have the pieces for Aaron Altherr--that's the question you should be asking.

Thanks. I was actually wondering if I asked the right question or not but thanks to your stellar posting I now know that I unfortunately did not. You're like that old hologramic white guy from I, Robot

wow I didn't know that song. DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince sound like NWA with their balls cut off and an affinity for drinking white wine in plad shorts at a Mets game

Yeah, believe it or not, when MTV first came out it wasn't a bunch of garbage reality shows of unwed teen mothers, guidos at the Jersey shore and whatever else they show on there now. They would just play music videos all day and night. People were easily amused back then.

I didn't realize they went that long before changing the format. On a side note, are you watching Joe Blanton? Thanks a lot, Reuben!
