The LAKERS speed is killing them.
They are just so much faster than the Nuggets in the front court.

The Nuggets might be better off forgetting about any offensive rebounds.
The Speed advantage of Dwight Howard especially is telling.

They are down the court in about 4 seconds every possession scoring at will.

Uh, I don't think he claimed that it didn't work. He just pointed out that playing center against a guy who's 6'7" is a lot different than against a legit 7 footer like Jokic.

AD doesn't want to play center because he doesn't want to have to bang with guys like Jokic. Fortunately, that's what Dwight and Javale are for.

The Lakers did a hybrid of small ball to match D'antoni's small ball but added the length of AD and some of the others. In a way, the Lakers beat them at their own game, but unless you get into the paint some, Small ball can only go so far
