You are hung up on one word without actually having read what they found. PLEASE PLEASE GO READ THE REPORT THEN YOU MIGHT NOT BE LAUGHING SO MUCH AS WONDERING IF BRADY WILL ACTUALLY PLAY THIS YEAR. There is some damning evidence against him that honestly he should be scared of what comes next.

Text message: "Tom is acting crazy about balls."

Uh oh. This report is going to be juicy.

Yeah, reporters rifling through say that people make fun of Brady for acting like a bitch about ball hardness.

Rock Strongo can't possibly be this stupid, which only leaves one other option: an inability to accept the reality that the Patriots, while great, break the rules to gain an advantage.

Look, I think they were the rightful winners of the Super Bowl (after Seattle choked) and best team last year. This does not change that.

But it does cement the fact that they are an ethically suspect bunch in the BB-Brady era. This is not the first strike.

He won't be laughing after reading the report. I read 3 pages of it and the evidence just in those 3 pages was crazy. This could turn into an even bigger deal than some were talking in the beginning depending how the NFL wants to move forward. I could see them laying the hammer on the Patriots or at least Brady for this whole thing.

Interesting that this was dragged out till after the draft. If it were done last week, the outcry would have been for a first and second
The NFL didn't want anything to distract from the draft.

That was no doubt at the advice of Robert Kraft.

It was all done so perfectly wasn't it?

Didn't affect the Super Bowl "win" or the draft. Punishment forthcoming.

All neat and tidy.

I wonder if Goodell will be partying at Kraft's colossal mansion this weekend again?

Have you never heard of probable cause before since your throwing out a bunch of legal analogies. Yes probable is enough to get you convicted of crimes. You should do some research. When you have any kind of criminal case all you have to prove is beyond a reasonable doubt that somebody committed said crime.

Probable Cause: the standard to which a grand jury believes that a crime has been committed in conjunction with a preponderance of the evidence.

beyond the doubt of reason is the standard of evidence required to validate a criminal conviction

Its a certainty Brady knew about it, encouraged it and knew it was against the rules. Its a certainty that the assistants put in charge to alter the balls knew that what they were doing was against the rules. Its a little less likely the coaches knew about the tampering, but I'm convinced even coaches know that the balls have to be a certain pressure and that the balls are subject to certification by refs. So Belicheck lied when he said he didn't claim to know much about the balls or the rules governing them. Then you have Kraft, whome until now didn't really care enough about ball pressure to lie about it one way or the other. He was standing up for his team's image, coaches and players, which again takes another blow to the chin. At this point, he really needs to keep his mouth shut and try to change the team's tattered image and convince himself and his team to run a cleaner ship.
