But can you forgive yourself?

Seriously.. You don't see the obvious inconsistency here?

You avoided this "moral" dilemma because Bonds didn't win the series but it was close and if he had what would you and other SF Giants fans done?

Ask him and the Giants to give up the Series title?? Really? Really??

Until you can be honest with yourself. I don't need your forgiveness but you need my sympathy.

There's no inconsistency here. The Giants sanctified themselves in the blood of Melky Cabrera and were absolved of all prior sins. They are now truly a team of integrity now and all of their titles are pure as the driven snow.

I still forgive you. You know not what you say.

No they just have bribery, conversations from employees working for the Patriots saying he told them to do this and that he was pissed when they were not doing a good enough job at it, or that Brady refused to hand over anything to the investigators even though Kraft said the team was fully cooperating with the investigators. Yup they have no evidence of any wrong doing by Brady. I guess lets ignore that everything the employee asked for in the bribe just happened to be found at his home.
Like i said, no.proof...thus probablies etc.

As a Pat fan it is amazing that people who say they are fans aren't pissed that T Brady stood up at the press conference and flat out lied to everyone about his involvement. Only to have it come out in text messages. Gee Tom you didn't think they would be brought to the forefront of the investigation.

Yes Pat fans it is cheating and once again the Pats are involved. Stop worrying about other teams problems when The Pats right now are the biggest cheats going and as a long time fan it sucks cause they didn't need to. But in a few years it will all be gone and it will be back to rooting for the old Pats of yester year that usually sucked. Cause the root of it all, BB will be gone. And Yes he knew about this too. He is involved in basically every part of what the team does, and you are going to say he didn't know what was going on BS.

Innocent people pay hush money....several times.

Whatever, this thread isn't about Ben. It's about the cheating blue boy on the chariots, but even you like the cheatriots can't face facts. Report says they cheated.

The only similarity between Rodgers and Brady is that it shows competitive players trying to game the system if they can to get an advantage. I don't know if there's a rule against over-inflation or not. That's not really the issue immo. It's the type of business and sport they play.

No probabilities, he knew and hindered the investigation....why????

So he had time to destroy evidence just like Belicheat and Kraft taught him.

They said they like to have the balls a certain way and will spend months for some of them getting them ready. Not a single other quarterback though said they have the ball boy take the balls after they have been approved and have the air either pumped into them (like Rocko likes to believe Rodgers does) or air taken out. Big difference in those two. And yes maybe it is a stupid rule and they should look into changing it but it is still a rule that all 32 teams are asked to abide by and so far only one has been found to just flat out not care that they have broken it. If it does come out that others have done the same thing then yes they should be punished for such action as the rules are there for a reason to give a level playing field for all teams.

I see the difference, but the report had nothing conclusive at all. The best they had was that Brady "sorta coulda known something". That also means he "sorta coulda known nothing." The Pats will get fined and move on. There is a reason they waited until after the draft to announce it; there won't be any lost picks or suspensions coming. Sorry.

About half way through the report and certainley not even half way through all the Hoola posts.

First let me start by saying as I had told many on these boards since day one of the investigation I would.

The Patriots as an organization have let me and the other loyal fans down. As you all know I'm probably one of the most adamant Pats fans on here when it comes to debating issues. I feel like I was just kicked in the gut repeatedly.

Who all really had knowledge? We'll never know. Did something suspicious happen with those balls? I have to say yes. Is it as bad as the report is making it out to be? That's up for debate.

There are too many inconsitencies on both the Pats and the investigation side.

Does this tarnish Brady's career, certainley. Was he to blame? Somewhat. I say that because we don't know for sure he said set the psi below 12.5? Do i personally think he did? I'm not sure but if you held a gun to me head I would say yes. I haven't seen yet is where anyone mentions Brady likes the balls below 12.5? The pre-game inspection is slightly suspect. Not that it wasn't done only that the referee says he knew they were all about 12.5. I'm not defending anyone here as I already admitted something went on. But the two guages that have different readings right next to each other at half time? Not sure how many of you have ever dealt with calibrations before but that to me is unacceptable. It's showed ALL the balls lost pressure. Not to the same extent. Totally different measurements from one guage to the next. So what guage was used prior to the game? No one knows. Does that make a difference? the report would have you believe that it wouldn't make that significant of a differnce. I'm not sure I totally agree with that but I'm not expert either. But ALL the balls lost pressure even the (4) Colt balls. Three of the four measured were below the 12.5 legal. While supposedly starting at the upper end of the range? I wonder what the other 8 balls would've tested out at? The Colts offense was only only the field for 22 minutes compared to the Pats 37 minutes. That also plays into the decrease in psi as stated in the report. Though not significantly. But when you add up a bunch of not significantlies you may find a different result.

Personally it doesn't matter to me now. It is what it is.

So we can go on and on about the pressures. But why pro Pat fans will jump on every thread haters and trolls will argue it for days.

What will torment me and thousands of others is why? Assuming Brady told the ball boy to set the pressure below 12.5 why? Or did he say make them 12.5? Obviously utilizing a ball above 12.5 isn't an issue. He had better stats in the second half of the AFCCG and no issue in the SB where you know the balls were scrutinized.

I was listening to Bill Mohr and I found it strange, but welcoming that he along with his other radio personalities saying this is only a big deal to Pat Fans and Colt fans. Not sure why the Colts? Thye got their ass kicked. Like the report mentions TB could've been throwing Rugby balls and beat the Colts on that day. By look at SportsHoopla Mohr got that one wrong.

Hope Kraft and company can somehow restore the passion we Pats fans have for our team.

The honest answer is they don't.

I honestly think there's part of the game that does push the edges and has pushing it since the sport started.

There's too much pressure by the coaches and players themselves to win, too much money.

It's like Wall Street when the pressure to win is just as enormous.

I'm sure the Pat's haters won't believe it but I really think Belichick has been trying to game the system legally these days. He really wants to know the rules more than ever.

What the fuck was the point of all this if they were going to "probably" and "likely" the shit out of it? What a waste of time.

Oh wait...

Then they held it until there was nothing in the NFL to talk about just so there would be something in the NFL to talk about.

What a bunch of baloney.

Time to :deadhorse:
