Haha these tactics they are using have been proven over and over again. Politicians use the deflection method all the time. Heck a person that scares the heck out of my Hillary Clinton could be our next President. Don't want to turn this into a political topic but just look at what she and her husband do to deflect all the terrible things that surround them and all the people arrested around them and connected to them but hey "they didn't know it was going on" or "it's no big deal everybody is doing it." Sounds pretty darn familiar.

My question is...if they do suspend brady week 1, what about goodells banner ceremony on opening night?

I have full confidence that had the Giants won a World Series with Bonds, they'd vacate it voluntarily. They wouldn't deflect or point to bad things other teams have done because they're an organization of integrity. The Patriots and Red Sox could learn a thing or two.
