You do realize Dinwiddie is averaging 17ppg, 5apg, and 2.5rpg this season, right? Probably improved so much he's getting the MIP award.

I believe those stats are inflated because of his games against Philly.....
Seriously, he'll hit 10-15 against us, then go 4-12 against their next opponent.
Just murders the Sixers.
There were moments where folks considered trading for him just so he wouldn't kill us.

There are definitely players that seem to just light it up against us. But I suspect most teams have a player or two like that.

I think we have to see how the new pieces fit together in Philly before declaring whether this is really better depth or not. On paper it definitely seems the team is improved in the frontcourt, but how is a guy like Harris going to fit in being the #3 or so scoring option on the floor? Where is the scoring coming from off the bench now? Shamet was not a world beater but the rookie could score from the perimeter and looked like a nice young bench player to me. They will need guys like Korkmaz to play a bigger role unless there are more moves coming.

I still think going all in would mean getting additional help using Sole combo of Fultz, abolden, and z Smith.

Lmao.

Wasn’t showing up on espns trade tracker. So I had to ask

The other Richardson might have broken the internets....

Still, it was good for a brief chuckle.
Very brief.

The problem is that Fultz and Smith have very low trade values.

Treating Fultz as a salary dump seems like a very shortsighted move.

Harris fits perfectly with Simmons and Embiid. I love this deal for the Sixers. Shamet was a decent prospect, but at this point wasn't much of a contributor outside of shooting 3's (and we get Zhaire Smith back next season). Maybe he develops into a 15-18 ppg guy or maybe he caps out at around 12. The Sixers needed that full time 4 with shooting "and" scoring ability to compliment Embiid and Simmons ... Harris fits that to a T and will very likely be resigned. Butler imo will likely not be back with the team in 2020 and even though a very good player hasn't really developed that chemistry with Embiid/Simmons. Hopefully I'm wrong and the Sixers can find a way to bring them both back.

As far as what we gave up ... like I said before Shamet is a decent rookie, but we have Smith coming back in 2020 to fill that role, plus "maybe" we can get something out of Fultz as well in 2020. The Draft picks are no big deal ... our own pick is likely a very late 1st and Miami's may not be as high as expected. Even if it is ... I would much rather have Harris "now". The two 2nd round picks are not important ... not like NFL draft picks.

No.

He could have gone to Philly actually if he had wanted to.
Yes.

He only played in the east when it was incredibly easy. Now that it's not as easy, he left.
