I love when teams aren't afraid to push in their chips and go after the Warriors. Gotta think they are slight favorites to make the Finals now.I'm guessing that the Sixers are done until the buyout market.

Houston did the same thing last year and came within a hair of pulling it off. And Philly showed the other day they ain't scared of ''em
If the Sixers can stay healthy and get a couple of meaningful backups from the buyout market, they could make a serious run with this squad
BucksHawk this is a good deal. Its time to solidify the nucleus and address weaknesses. I say props for having the guts to make a move.
Sixers are the very least a paper tiger. And it could be they turn paper into reality.
Good stuff. Raptors/Sixers/Pacers and Celtics gonna be some dog fights

That second squad is arguably the best or 2nd best starting 5 in basketball.
Yep.So at the beginning of the season the Sixers roster looked like this.
Simmons
Embiid
Reddick
Dario
RoCo
Shamet
Muscala
plus various other support guys.
Now the roster is
Simmons
Embiid
Reddick
Butler
Harris
Boban
Scott
plus various other support guys.
The first squad was a pretty good squad that had no chance of winning a title and likely wasn't going to even make a real threat at a conference title. That second squad is arguably the best or 2nd best starting 5 in basketball. The team isn't complete yet but it is pretty darn close.
a guard that doesn't make Spencer Dinwiddie look like Curry. How much more do they need?

he's also not 70 points on 33 shots good either. you can pretty much assume any guard going against the sixers is going to post 30+ pointsUm, Spencer Dinwiddie may not be Curry but he's also no scrub either.

he might have been in the conversation before his injury, but unless they cancel each other out, I'd have to think it's one of the Kings backcourt. You do realize Dinwiddie is averaging 17ppg, 5apg, and 2.5rpg this season, right? Probably improved so much he's getting the MIP award.
