Keenum was the 29th ranked QB in QB rating last year. Flacco was ranked 28th.
Well Fangio has always talked about death by inches.

Could be one of our two 4th round picks. I'm a little worried about the cap hit with Flacco's big salary and the dead money the Broncos get stuck with if they cut Keenum.
Elway is losing it
Exactly. I heard it's a mid round pick.
Didn't we get a 4th for DT? So basically DT for Flacco?
This year may be hard to root for my beloved Broncos.
Try paying $3K a year.
Makes very little sense... Flacco, outside his 2012 playoff stretch, is middling, at best. His success in Baltimore was probably more a function of the defense then his high quality QB play...but regardless. Obviously John has decided that Case is not a long term answer...MY SURPRISED FACE...and so the Broncos currently don't have a QBOTF on the roster. Is there a long term fix in free agency? I'm a huge Teddy B fan and if I were going to spend a collective 30m on my QB position, I would have much rather gone with Bridgewater. At least with him there's still an unknown in terms of potential and ceiling. You know what you're getting in AFlacco and its really not much better than what you currently have with Keenum...that being said, if you're going to draft a QB with the #10 pick in the draft this year OR wait until there's a far better option NEXT year (please wait), why do you mortgage this much in cap space, paying two QBs who aren't going to be in orange probably past 2020. Why not just stick and stay with Keenum? Nope, lets compound one bad decision with another.
