Elways said today that Lock is not ready.. He said he wants to make sure he is ready before "if" he ever goes in this year.

I think Elway is being a bit stubborn with Flacco, not wanting to set him aside for Lock. Still wants people to believe Flacco is gonna work out here.

The problem is it's clearly evident he isn't cutting it. We need to make a change. We're wasting a top 10 defense on a QB that is no longer capable of leading an NFL offense.

It's time we see what we have in Allen and Rypien and Lock. We need to find out if one of these guys is an NFL level QB. Flacco is clearly finished in the NFL.

You probably have to stick with Flacco over Allen at this point, but if/when Lock is activated the situation changes as Lock has a tool set that may allow the Broncos to be more successful. Considering how the line played last week Lock does need to be 100% before being put on the field.

I get the impression the locker room believes this season is not lost yet. As long as the locker room believes there is hope for this season you can’t go with Allen or Rypien.

If this team is 2-7 at the bye we probably see Lock. If they are 4-5 we are going to stick with Flacco for a few more games after the bye.
