we just like to make things unnecessary hard on ourselves. its like we’re scoring million of points and not need anymore

Sadly if we do Bevell will then try to run Lacy and we'll be punting 3rd and 15 (add in a hold or false start or something) after a 3 and out, giving the Texans the ball back with 2 minutes and change left with some timeouts... mmmhmmm.
