Game Thread: Week 8- Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos

The Bills at home will be a tough one. But an upset win has the Broncos on a 3 game run and sitting at 4-5.

How different does our season feel if the Broncos pull this upset?

At 4-5 that would leave us to play:
Vikings at home w/o Cousins
Browns at home, and who knows about Watson
At Texans - definitely improved, but winnable
At Chargers - and that depends on what version of that team shows up
At Lions - I’d rest some starters in this one.
Patriots at home
Chargers at home
At Raiders - maybe by then McD is canned

9-8 isn’t out of the realm of possibility if we beat the Bills as you speculate.

I am all for celebrating the wins and we are getting better, but it took a 5 turnover game from the Chiefs, so I am taking it with a grain of salt. Sooooooooooooooooo glad the streak is over though.

I understand, but just remember some of the losses in that streak were due to bounces of the football that went the Chiefs way. The Broncos played them close a lot of times.

As a survivor of the Elway and Manning eras for the Broncos - I am waiting patiently for the Chiefs without Mahomes. Hell - it looks like life without Eric Bienemy has been pretty hard on them right now.

I mean, they’re not wrong. Since that amazing win in 50 the Chiefs have been to 3 Super Bowls and won 2 of them. All that to go with their 16 straight wins over the Broncos.

But it’ll swing back around. Nothing lasts forever in the NFL. NFL = Not For Long

No, people don't think that. People think we are improving. That simple.

I just see too many negative Bronco fans who are still grumpy even when we win. Why be a fan of a team if you can't enjoy when they win? Many of those grumpy fans are acting like other Bronco fans think we have turned a corner and are now an amazing Super Bowl contending team. I don't see that from fans... People are happy, we beat the Chiefs. Let people be happy. Nobody is calling us a playoff team let alone a Super Bowl team.

I get the excitement of winning. Im also not buying what is being sold till they string together more than a win against GB and an admittedly bad chiefs performance.

Yeah, that will get the locker room fired up and motivated.

As far as social media. I stay as far away from social media team pages. There is no value to reading a bunch of idiot fans. I really try to keep my circle of football talk to here and a few friends that I believe have enough knowledge to have a quality football convo. I'm not up for convos with clueless fans. I don't mean that to sound cocky it's just pointless for me. Message boards have decreased a lot because of social media pages which I think is ridiculous because the talk on there is ridiculous. You get that 99 year old grandma who says roar we #1, and you get that 13 year kid who says we need to trade everyone on the roster if we don't pick up a 3rd and 20. There is no value, stay away from FB and Instagram opinions and rumors.
